In the midst of a storm and thinking Jesus didn’t care what was happening all around the disciples called out for him to help! Jesus awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. He said to them, “Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith?” (Mark 4)
This is a call to us all right now. We are in the midst of a storm or it’s on the horizon. All of us effected differently … and yet as believers we are called to stand firm in our faith. “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” – Psalm 46:10
Lord God I believe, help my unbelief. Calm my storm raging in my heart of fear, and lead me in surrender.
