This painting is a reminder to persevere in trials. To remain steadfast. When all around things are dark and your hope is hard to see, remember you are not alone. God is with you. He will never leave or forsake you, his beloved. “So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18. God is using this to produce beautiful flowers of character in your life and those flowers shine all the more brightly out of the darkness. So remain steadfast. Do not give up hope. “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1: 2-4
