Summer Art Camp

July 14 – July 18, 2025

8:30 am – 2:30 pm   //   8yr – 13yr old   //   Cost for the week: $300

Join us for a week full of creativity, color, and fun in the sun! Each day brings a new adventure with exciting themed art projects using a variety of materials like acrylics, pastels, watercolor, markers, and drawing pencils. Campers will have a blast making art, playing games that match the theme of the day, and cooling off with pool time every afternoon!

Art classes will be held in the garage studio of our home and are limited to 10 students to keep things cozy and creative.

For pool safety: All students must either be confident swimmers or wear a life jacket during the entire pool time. On the first day, students will complete a swim test that includes swimming the length of the pool and back without resting on the side, followed by treading water for one minute. If you’re unsure whether your child will pass the swim test, please provide a properly fitted life jacket for them to use throughout the week.

Sample Daily Schedule

8:30 – 9:45 AM – Creative Art Session
Start the day with fun and engaging art projects using a variety of materials.

9:45 – 10:30 AM – Game & Snack Break
Enjoy a short break for a snack and some outdoor games.

10:30 – 12:00 PM – Second Art Session
Continue exploring creativity with more hands-on art time.

12:00 – 12:45 PM – Lunch & Change into Swimsuits
Break for lunch and get ready for afternoon swim time.

1:00 – 2:15 PM – Pool Time & Water Play
Supervised swim and pool games to cool off and have fun.

2:15 – 2:30 PM – Dry Off & Outdoor Play
Towel off and enjoy some light outdoor play in the front yard.

2:30 PM – Parent Pick-Up

Our Daily Adventures

Day 1 Under the Stars

Blast off into a creative cosmos as we craft galaxy-inspired artwork using chalk pastels, mix up some glowing galaxy slime, and launch “meteors” (a.k.a. water balloons) at each other before rocketing into the pool 

Day 2 Tasty Tuesday

Art is food and food is art! We’ll whip up deliciously fun food-themed art projects and tasty treats that kids will love creating—and devouring! Followed by fun food-inspired games in the Pool. 

Day 3 Color Me Crazy

Unleash your inner wild artist with a day packed with color explosions! We’ll channel Jackson Pollock in a wearable paint-splatter shirt project, dive into abstract drawing like Picasso, and create brilliantly bold art pieces that celebrate all things bright and zany.

Day 4 Wild Animal Adventures

Go on a jungle safari through art as we create a majestic lion with watercolor and a vibrant toucan with oil pastels. Then embark on a scavenger hunt before leaping into the pool!

Day 5 Seas the Day

Get ready to dive into an underwater adventure! We’ll make bright and bubbly jellyfish, majestic sea turtles, and other ocean-inspired art. Then we’ll cool off with splashy, under-the-sea games and water fun in the pool!
