Journey Beneath the Waves

Camp Dates: July 6 – July 10, 2026

Join us for a week full of creativity, color, and underwater adventures! Each day brings a new ocean-themed project using a variety of materials like clay, acrylics, watercolors, oil pastels, and mixed media. Campers will dive into making art inspired by sea creatures and coral reefs, play under-the-sea games, and cool off with pool time every afternoon!

Classes are held in our garage studio and limited to 10 students, creating an intimate, hands-on environment where each student can work closely with instructors and fully immerse themselves in every creative project.

Pool Safety: All students must be confident swimmers or wear a life jacket during pool time. On the first day, students will complete a swim test: swimming the length of the pool and back without resting, followed by treading water for one minute. If you’re unsure whether your child will pass, please provide a properly fitted life jacket for use throughout the week.

Sample Daily Schedule

8:30 – 9:45 AM – Creative Art Session
Start the day with fun and engaging art projects using a variety of materials.

9:45 – 10:30 AM – Game & Snack Break
Enjoy a short break for a snack and some outdoor games.

10:30 – 12:00 PM – Second Art Session
Continue exploring creativity with more hands-on art time.

12:00 – 12:45 PM – Lunch & Change into Swimsuits
Break for lunch and get ready for afternoon swim time.

1:00 – 2:15 PM – Pool Time & Water Play
Supervised swim and pool games to cool off and have fun.

2:15 – 2:30 PM – Dry Off & Outdoor Play
Towel off and enjoy some light outdoor play in the front yard.

2:30 PM – Parent Pick-Up

Our Daily Adventures

Under the Water

Day 1: Octopus Odyssey
Plunge into creativity as we sculpt colorful clay octopuses, then ride the waves with a Hokusai-inspired painting. After our ocean masterpieces, we’ll splash into the pool for some watery fun!

Day 2: Coral Kingdom
Dive into the reef! Create 3D coral using clay, paper, noodles, and pipe cleaners, then paint your vibrant underwater world. We’ll follow up with under-the-sea games in the pool.

Day 3: Whale of a Tale Wednesday
Make a splash with doodle art and patterns as we bring a whale to life on paper. Then paint a stunning sunset scene of a whale tail leaping from the waves before cooling off in the pool.

Day 4: Turtle Treasures
Paint adorable baby sea turtles on the beach using acrylics, then dive into creating an ocean gradient to explore perspective and depth with silhouetted turtles. After our artistic adventure, cool off with pool time and under-the-sea themed games!

Day 5: Fishy Friday
Create colorful fish using oil pastels and watercolors, finish your clay octopus sculptures, and celebrate the week with splashy pool games that bring the ocean to life!
